Undeniable
“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.’” - John 20:21
There are some truths in life that are up for debate, but this isn’t one of them. When you open your Bible and actually read what Jesus says, there’s no way around it. Everyone who is saved is sent. That’s not up for discussion. It’s undeniable.
We try to complicate it. We convince ourselves that only pastors or missionaries are “sent.” We think you need a Bible degree or a stage or a microphone to qualify. But Jesus didn’t say, “I’m only sending the spiritually elite.” He said, “As the Father sent me, I’m sending you.” That means if you’ve been saved by Jesus, then you’ve been sent by Jesus.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a teacher, coach, nurse, construction worker, stay-at-home parent, or college student. If Jesus has changed your life, then your life is meant to reflect and represent Him. That doesn’t mean you have to shout in the break room or preach at the gym. It means you live with purpose. You love boldly. You serve generously. You speak truth when the door opens.
The problem isn’t that God hasn’t sent us. The problem is that many of us haven’t accepted the assignment. We delay it, dodge it, or downplay it. But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s real. You don’t get to opt out. This isn’t for the “extra spiritual.” It’s for every believer.
It's time to stop waiting for a sign or a title or a big dramatic moment. The sending has already happened. Jesus said it plainly. The only question is what you’re going to do with it. You don’t have to figure it all out today, but you do have to start walking like someone who’s been sent. Because if He saved you, He’s also sending you. That’s not my opinion. That’s the Word. Undeniable.
