You’re Part of a Bigger Story

"Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’" – Genesis 1:26
 
Far too often, we shrink our lives down to a series of tasks, problems, and moments that feel disconnected from any greater meaning. But from the very beginning, God made it clear that your life was meant for something far more significant than simply getting through the day. You were designed with purpose. Not just to survive, but to steward. Not just to exist, but to reflect His image on the earth.
 
In Genesis 1, when God creates mankind, He gives them a unique role. You are not just another part of creation. You were made in His image, entrusted with authority, and invited into the story He’s telling.  That means your life is not random.  

Your actions matter. The way you work, the way you love, the way you treat people, and even the way you handle the responsibilities placed in front of you all become part of something bigger than you.
 
You were not an afterthought. You were placed on this earth with intention. And no matter how mundane your current season might feel, the role you play in God's story is anything but small. Every moment of faithfulness adds to the masterpiece He is building. Every act of obedience echoes across eternity. Every step you take in surrender helps reveal His glory.
 
I want you to lift your head today. Remember who made you, and why. You are part of a bigger story. God did not just create you to fill space. He created you to shape it. And He’s not finished writing your chapter.
