Hold On Without Wavering
“Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.” - Hebrews 10:23
Endurance is not just about surviving hard seasons. It is about holding on to the right thing in the middle of them. Anyone can grit their teeth and wait for the storm to pass, but as followers of Jesus, we are called to something deeper. We are called to endure in faith. To hold on to the hope we profess, even when it feels like everything around us is shaking.
That is what makes Hebrews 10 so powerful. It reminds you that your boldness does not come from how strong you feel. It comes from the blood of Jesus. Your access to God is not based on your performance. It is based on His sacrifice. So when life gets hard, and it will, you do not need to back away in fear. You can draw near with full assurance because your hope is anchored in someone who cannot fail.
Notice the call in Hebrews 10:23. It says, “Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering.” That phrase, “without wavering,” is where the challenge is. That means you hold on when you feel like giving up. You stay steady when your emotions are swinging. You keep trusting even when the outcome is unclear. And you keep showing up in faith, not because everything is perfect, but because the One who promised is faithful.
God has never broken a promise. That is why you can hold on without wavering. That is why you can endure. Not because it is easy, but because He is steady. Not because you have all the answers, but because He has never left you.
Whatever you are walking through right now, stay anchored. Keep your grip on hope. Let your endurance be built on trust, not on feelings. And remember, the finish line is not found in your strength; it is found in His faithfulness. Hold on. He will not let you fall.
