Unafraid
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6
Following God will take you places that feel uncertain. He may lead you into situations that stretch your faith or require bold action. But over and over again in Scripture, God tells His people the same thing: Do not be afraid. That is not just a gentle encouragement. It is a command grounded in something unshakable: who He is.
You never walk alone when you walk with God. That is the first reason fear has no place. He is not just ahead of you in the distance, hoping you catch up. He is with you. Right there. His presence is not a vague comfort. It is a promise backed by His character. The same God who parted seas and shut the mouths of lions is the same God who says, I will never leave you.
Another reason you can be unafraid is because God already knows the outcome. You and I live in real time, but God does not. He sees the whole path laid out before us. And if He has called you to it, He is already working in it. There is no unknown that rattles Him. No threat that surprises Him.
Lastly, fear fades when you trust His love. The Bible says perfect love casts out fear. That means when you truly understand how deeply God loves you, fear cannot grip your heart the same way. You do not have to prove yourself or protect yourself. God has already covered you.
Following God might feel risky. It might cost you comfort, reputation, or control. But the reward is His presence, His peace, and His purpose. That is more than enough to silence fear.
Be strong. Be courageous. And when fear starts to rise up, remind yourself of who walks beside you. You are not alone. And you are not unprepared. You are with the One who leads in power and love.
