When Life Feels Impossible to Fix
“With God all things are possible” – Matthew 19:26
There are moments in life when something breaks, and you know it cannot be fixed with a simple apology or a little more effort. The damage feels permanent. The story feels ruined. You look at what happened and quietly think, this is too far gone. That feeling shows up after betrayal, loss, shame, or a decision that changed everything. You may still believe God can fix other people’s situations, but yours feels like the exception.
That is where Tamar found herself. Her life was marked by loss, neglect, and broken promises. She was widowed, forgotten, and pushed aside by the very family that should have protected her. Time passed, and nothing changed. No justice. No restoration. No future. Her situation did not look difficult; it looked impossible. From the outside, her story appeared beyond redemption.
