You Were Destined for More

"If God is for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31

Some days it feels like you’re just trying to make it to tomorrow. Life can shrink down into schedules, struggles, and survival. You might look around and wonder if your story matters at all. Maybe you’ve started to believe the lie that you’re just another face in the crowd, not especially gifted or chosen, not someone God would use in any meaningful way.

But Romans 8 speaks a louder truth. The One who created the galaxies is for you. The cross is not only the proof of God’s love but also the declaration of your worth. You were not only created by God, you were destined by Him. Before you ever took a breath, He had a plan with your name on it. And that plan is not small. It is not about scraping by or living in fear. You were made for something more.

That doesn’t mean your life will always feel big. Often, the most eternal work happens in the unseen moments. Faithfulness. Love. Obedience. You might not get applause for those things, but heaven sees them. Your destiny is not about being noticed by the world. It’s about being used by God. And because your destiny is anchored in Him, you don’t have to chase the approval of people or the illusion of success.

The enemy wants you to live like a prisoner to your past or your insecurity. But none of that holds weight in the presence of God’s truth. If He is for you, who or what could ever stop the purpose He has set in motion? You are not here by accident. You are not forgotten. You were destined for more.

So live like it. Think like it. Walk like it, not with arrogance, but with quiet, unshakable confidence in the One who holds your future.
