When God Holds Back His Strength
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
Strength is usually measured by how quickly something can be resolved. When pressure builds or conflict stretches on, it is natural to wonder why God does not step in and end it immediately. Many assume delay means distance or disapproval. Scripture reveals something more patient and far more personal. Sometimes God holds back His strength on purpose.

Dependence would never deepen. Strength would remain self-directed. By meeting weakness with patience, God creates space for trust to grow. The struggle is not about winning against God. It is about being changed by Him.
