Grace That Leads You Home
"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:10
Grace is not something you meet once and then move on from. It becomes the very thing that keeps you standing, moving, growing, and believing. Paul understood that. His past was messy, his story was complicated, and his weakness was obvious, yet he never tried to hide any of it. Instead, he pointed to the grace that saved him and the grace that carried him. That same grace is working in your life today.
When you look back on your journey, it becomes clear that grace has been present in every chapter. There were moments you should have given up, but God held you. There were decisions that could have shattered your future, but God redirected you. There were seasons where your strength ran out, but His grace stepped in. Salvation was never the finish line. It was the starting point of a life carried by the kindness of God.
Many people think grace only applies to the moment they first believed. Scripture shows something different. Grace does not simply rescue you. It lifts you when you stumble. It restores what sin tried to break. It strengthens you when your faith feels thin. It keeps you close when your heart drifts. Every stage of your walk is covered by a grace that does not weaken with time.
Consider the areas where you feel worn down. Pressure can make your faith shake. Temptation can make your resolve slip. Disappointment can make your heart tired. Grace meets you in each of those places with enough strength for today. Not just enough to survive, but enough to keep moving forward with confidence in the One who holds you.
Paul said God’s grace toward him was not in vain. That is the invitation for you as well. Let grace do its full work. Let it shape you, steady you, and guide you. The God who started your story is not finished writing it. His grace has carried you this far, and it will carry you all the way home.
