God Has Been Planning Your Redemption All Along
"Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him." - Ephesians 1:4
Most people think salvation begins the moment they put their faith in Jesus. Scripture paints a much bigger picture. God did not start loving you the day you believed. His plan did not begin when you first prayed. Long before you took your first breath, God had already set His heart on you. Paul says God chose His people before the foundation of the world. That means your redemption was not a reaction to your sin. It was part of His plan from the very beginning.
Think about what that means. Before mountains existed, God already knew your name. Before stars filled the sky, He had already written your story. Before light ever touched the earth, He had already decided to rescue you. Nothing about your salvation is accidental. You did not stumble into grace by chance. You were pursued. You were wanted. You were intentionally loved by a God who had a purpose for you long before you were here to walk in it.
People often struggle to believe they are truly loved by God. Past mistakes try to convince you that you are too broken. Seasons of failure make you question your worth. Hard moments create doubts about whether God still sees you. The truth found in this verse silences all of that. Your salvation is rooted in His eternal love, not in your performance. Every part of your story is wrapped in His intention.
